I currently oversee IT operations in arguably one of the most popular hotels in the Western part of Kenya. As a reputable hospitality establishment, Bondo Pride Hotel is known for its great African cuisine, unparalleled conferencing facilities, and exuberant nightlife scene where both local and international music take centre stage. It has a 64-bed capacity across 51 rooms, 2 bars with high-end drinks, a large swimming pool, a state-of-the-art gym, 2 saunas, 2 steam baths, a restaurant and 5 conference halls.

I manage the Facebook Page of Bondo Pride Hotel which has 8,475 followers. My job includes coming up with versatile posts in different formats and responding to inquiries online to drive up engagement on the page which can increase conversions.
Most recently, I launched our new TikTok page which went on to have great reception. Standing in at 1000 followers and 2150 likes in 3 months; which is impressive for a rural corporate entity. On that tangent, I also manage our Instagram page that I created, that garnered 120 followers from scratch in 3 months.The growth periods mentioned for our TikTok and Instagram is from December 2023 to early March 2024.
All gains are organic with no paid advertisements involved.

African Leadership Xcelerator (ALX) Africa
ALX is a pan-African leadership accelerator aimed at creating 3 million ethical and entrepreneurial leaders by the year 2030 who will catalyze the growth of Africa. It adopts experiential and project-based learning.
At the end of the intensive program, one has the following 21st-century skills; Self-Leadership, Systems-Leadership, People-Leadership, Critical Thinking, Effective Communication, Data-Based Decision-making, Planning & Execution, and, Innovation & Entrepreneurship. The program currently runs in Nairobi, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Lagos, and Casablanca.
As part of ALX coursework, I worked on several teams as a consultant on real-world projects for ALX's affiliate organizations and companies. The work largely involved diagnosing the said affiliates' processes to solve problems and obstacles to their growth. We'd then formulate solutions to help them streamline their operations and/or roll out new products. Some of the organizations I directly worked with include; the Nairobi County Government, VSO International, Wazi Counselling, ALX, and Mango Solar.

Worked as a computer lab technician for a sizable university campus for one of Kenya's largest and oldest universities, JKUAT. My routine consisted of installing, configuring and troubleshooting computer hardware, computer software, Ethernet internet, Wi-Fi internet and other associated I.T. Infrastructure for both students and lecturers together with support staff at the JKUAT campus.
